Lotus Root! how you cook with lotus root usually? I believe most of the people cook lotus root with soup.
At this healthy recipes blog post, I will introduce you a tasty recipe for your delicious dinner tonight.
I had cook this many times, and I cooked and served it again yesterday night, all the people in my family and friend, who is vegetable lover, polished off this dish yesterday night,when I served it.
After polished off my dish, they will say: "this is the creative lotus root vegetable recipe we never try it before".
At today blog, I will share with you the easy and simple way to make this Lotus Root Balls with Plum sauce. I hope you like it.
Ingredients:
- 200g of lotus root with diced
- 100g of prawn meat with diced
- 2 tbsp of chopped spring onion
- 2 tbsp of corn flour
- 5 tbsp of plain flour
- 150ml of water
- 5 cups of oil
- 1/2 tsp of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- dash of sesame oil and pepper
- 3 tbsp of plum sauce
- 1 tsp of chopped chili
- 1 tbsp of lime juice
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 100ml of water
- Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl, add in the seasoning and mix it into a batter.
- Heat up the 5 cups of oil at the wok for deep frying.
- Scoop a tablespoonfuls of the batter [from the method 1)] and put it inside the wok with hot oil for deep fry until it turn to golden brown color.
- Dish and drain the lotus ball now.
- Repeat method 3) and 4) until you finished up all the batter at method 1).
- Use another clean wok, cook the sauce until it thick, add in the lotus root balls and stir well.
- The hot and tasty lotus root ball with plum sauce is ready for serve.
